Space Force Good Conduct Medal Ribbon

The Space Force Good Conduct Medal (SFGCM) is awarded to enlisted Guardians who complete three years of qualifying service while demonstrating exemplary behavior, efficiency, fidelity, and the Space Force core values of Character, Connection, Commitment, and Courage. Eligibility is retroactive to December 20, 2019, the date the U.S. Space Force was established.

The Space Force Good Conduct Medal (SFGCM) is awarded to USSF Guardians who meet the eligibility requirements of three years service in the USSF; demonstrating the Space Force core values of Character, Connection, Commitment, and Courage.

A memo signed by Secretary of the Air Force Frank Kendall on Aug. 30, 2023 stated that the SFGCM is awarded to recognize “exemplary behavior, efficiency, and fidelity of enlisted members of the United States Space Force”.

Eligibility for the SFGCM will be retroactive to the date of the establishment of the U.S. Space Force, Dec. 20, 2019.

Award of the SFGCM is automatic unless denied by the unit commander.
