Joint Service Achievement Medal

The Joint Service Achievement Medal Ribbon is bestowed as a decoration presented by the United States Secretary of Defense to the officers below grade 0-6 who have performed an exceptional achievement that a Commendation Medal does not recognize. The ribbon is divided by a thin vertical red stripe on either side by a thick blue vertical stripe, followed by a thinner green vertical stripe flanked alternatively by a thin white stripe and blue edging on both ends.
