Navy Distinguished Service Medal

The Navy Distinguished Service ribbon is awarded to those who have provided extremely valuable service to the United States government. This award is generally reserved for veteran Navy Flag and Marine corps general officers. It is denoted with Navy Blue stripes on both sides and a yellow stripe in the center. This ribbon is generally bestowed with the Navy Distinguished Service Medal.
