Medal For Humane Action

The United States Department of Defense presents the Medal for Humane Action as a decoration to that person who performed meritorious participation for a minimum of 120 days of service between June 26, 1948, to September 30, 1949, in the Berlin Airlift. The Ribbon is bisected at the center by a thin vertical stripe of red followed by thin vertical white stripes, a thick vertical teal stripe, a thin vertical white stripe, and a black vertical thick stripe proceeding towards each end.
