Korean Service Medal

The United States Department of Defense presents the Korean Service Medal Ribbon to that person who served in the Korean War between June 27, 1950, and July 27, 1954. There were 13 campaigns that the United States Department of Defense recognized, and a star on the Medal denoted each member who participated. The Ribbon is sky blue and is bisected by a thin vertical stripe of white and thin vertical white edging on both sides.
