The Korean Defense Service Medal is presented by the United States Department of Defense to the United States military personnel who have served for 30 days of consecutive service or 60 days non-consecutive service in defense of South Korea. The ribbon is green and features a thick vertical blue stripe at the center followed by a thin yellow stripe and a white vertical stripe proceeding outwards and is separated by a thin green stripes.
