The United States Department of Defense presents the Armed Forces Reserve Medal Ribbon to the Military individual who has completed ten years of service in the United States Armed Forces. The AFRM was first established on September 25, 1950. The ribbon is yellow and bisected by a thin vertical blue stripe and three thin vertical blue stripes on each edge.
