Antarctica Service Medal

The United States Department of Defense presents the Antarctic Service Medal. This Medal is presented to the Armed Forces and U.S civilians. The Medal is honored to the person who has trained or served at least ten days in the Antarctic continent, defined as south of 60 degrees latitude. The Ribbon is bisected at the center by a vertical white stripe followed by gray, green, light blue, blue, and black towards each end.
