The United States Department of Air Force presents the Air Force Special Duty Award to members who have completed a special duty or assignment. The ribbon is bisected by a thin vertical blue stripe at the center flanked on either side by thick white stripes, a thin red stripe, a thin gray stripe, a wider ultramarine blue, thin gray and thin blue stripe at the edge.
