The United States Department of Air Force presents the Air Force Overseas Short Ribbon to the United States Air Force members who have completed a qualifying tour overseas. The tour must be at least 300 days within a span of 18 months. The ribbon is bisected by a thick dark blue vertical stripe featuring three stripes of dashed white lines, flanked by alternating thin vertical stripes of white and light blue towards the edge.
