The United States Department of Air Force presents the Air Force Overseas Short Ribbon to the United States Air Force members who have completed a qualifying tour overseas. The tour must be at least two years or more to receive this award. The ribbon is bisected by a thick dark blue vertical stripe, flanked by alternating thin vertical stripes of white and light blue towards the edge.
