Air Force Distinguished Service Medal

The Air Force Distinguished Service medal is awarded to those members of the U.S. Air Force who have served with extremely commendable service to the U.S Government. The Ribbon has a wide center of white with thin stripes of gold stripes on either side, Wide stripes of ultramarine blue, and narrow stripes of gold at the edges on both sides. This ribbon is attached to the Air Force DSM and is awarded to officers with at least a Major General rank.
