The American Campaign Medal is presented by the United States Department of War and United States Department of Navy to the personnel who served in the United States Military Service for at least 30 days outside United States or atleast one year inside United States between December 7, 1941 and March 2, 1946. The Medal features an airplane, a cruiser and beneath it a submarine. The upper portion of the medal has an inscription reading American Campaign.
