The Korean Defense Service Medal is presented by the United States Department of Defense to the United States military personnel who have served for 30 days consecutively or 60 days non-consecutively in defense of South Korea. The Medal features an Asian Dragon and a laurel beneath surrounded by the inscription reading Korea Defense Service Medal.
